The London Kabbalah group is organizing a bus ride from London directly to Berlin to support the Berlin Convention at the end of January. They will be departing from Camden Town, London on January 27 at 6:00 PM GMT.

Tel Aviv, Israel, November 8 2010 — The 2010 World Kabbalah Convention, held on November 9-11, will host 7,000 people of all the world’s faiths, from 54 countries, speaking 38 languages, coming to celebrate what Kabbalah is really about – the connection among all people.

Tel Aviv, Israel, July 23 2010 — The MegaCongress 2010 hosted by the Bnei Baruch Kabbalah Education & Research Institute – www.kabbalah.info – from July 23 to 25, is a meeting of individuals and groups from over 60 locations around the world to reveal and celebrate human unity beyond all differences.

Broadcast on www.kabbalahgroup.info, the MegaCongress aims to become a place for deeply transformative personal and social experience through intensive studies and activities. It is based on the premise that one’s environment influences the person with its values; and if one wants to make a positive change in one’s life, then one needs one’s environment to support and promote this change. MegaCongress manager Avihu Sofer states, “People are constantly under the influence of the environment to a point where the values of the environment become a person’s values. Understanding this principle, we should think about this question: What values would humanity require to develop in a positive direction? They would have to be values that connect all people and bring them together, and where everyone would benefit. The MegaCongress 2010 aims to be a three-day study, work and celebration of such values, and the beginning of many such events that will aim to build an environment for more and more people to become influenced by these values, as well as start incorporating them into their lives.”

Dr. Michael Laitman, founder and teacher of the Bnei Baruch Kabbalah Education & Research Institute, teaches these values daily to students and viewers the world over. What is Kabbalah?

Kabbalist Yehuda Ashlag (Baal HaSulam) gives this answer:
“If you listen with your heart to one famous question, I am sure that all your doubts as to whether you should study Kabbalah will vanish without a trace. This question is a bitter and a fair one, asked by all born on earth: ’What is the meaning of my life?”

Many people are confused about the origin of Kabbalah and what it represents so here are a few points about what Kabbalah is & isn’t:

• Kabbalah is a practical study through which we undergo internal changes, unique to each individual.

• Kabbalah is a science and unlike what you’ve heard, red string, holy water & tarot cards have nothing to do with Kabbalah.

• Actually Kabbalah doesn’t speak about our corporeal world at all, it only deals with the way we are created and how we function at higher levels of existence.

In the 2nd lesson of the Fall 2009 semester at the Bnei Baruch Education Center, we learned that the study of Kabbalah is a process of defocusing our current perception of the world, and refocusing it to see a whole new world that was always right before our eyes, but which we never learned how to see… until today. Since we received a lot more questions than we were able to answer, we’re going to run another Q&A Celebration at the exact same time and place next week:
