Is There Life After Death?

What Happens When You Die? - Infographic

People who have survived clinical death have described a number of different experiences, among them being sensations of nothingness, peacefulness, seeing loved ones, out-of-body experiences where they see what’s going on around them, and either entering or heading toward a bright light. According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, such experiences are psychological and don’t point out what really happens after we die. Near-death experiences do have a commonality that we can learn from, which is that we experience a certain sensation of freedom from our corporeal-material body. However, such freedom is temporary and limited compared to the sensation of freedom we can attain by freeing ourselves from the control of our egoistic desires that hold tightly onto us our entire lives. Kabbalah considers the latter true freedom, and that it is synonymous with the attainment of the soul. In other words, the soul is not something we are simply given upon our death, or even in our lives without any effort on our behalf. It is a new desire that we can develop and grow during our lives, with the help of the method of Kabbalah, where we discover our freedom from the hold of our egoistic desires.

We have created a page dedicated to answering common questions about what happens when we die: Do we enter an afterlife? Do we reincarnate? Do we merge with pure consciousness, or nothingness? What are near-death experiences and clinical death? Also, what is a soul, and how do we attain a soul? Follow the link in the above image in order to delve deeper into this topic.

An Examination into the Age-Old Question about the Meaning of Life

What Is the Meaning of Life - Infographic

What is the meaning of life? Is it to be happy, to love, to be free, powerful, to have goals and dreams we’re working toward, to survive, evolve and reproduce, to be good people, to worship God and enter heaven in the afterlife? Or does life have no meaning? Should the question about the meaning of life better be ignored, i.e. if there’s no clearly attainable and provable answer to the question among all people, then maybe it causes division and pain when raising it, so maybe we should just learn to survive as best as possible and not deal with the meaning of life? Or maybe life is just plain bad, and we’re destined to make our way here, each one on the ruin of others, as best as we can while we’re here for a numbered amount of years?

The wisdom of Kabbalah has existed for thousands of years as a method for answering the question about the meaning of life. We interviewed Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman to answer questions in relation to the age-old existential question. Read the interview here: What Is the Meaning of Life? – An Examination

The question about the meaning of life is life’s most fundamental question. If a person doesn’t find this answer, he becomes so depressed that he cannot overcome it. He doesn’t feel pleasure in anything: not in food, sex, family, his children, in nothing. “Can I live without looking for the meaning of life or not?” If he can replace this question with some kind of hobby and not think about it anymore, it means that he doesn’t have this desire yet, although nature pushes us toward it.

How to Clearly See Your Internal Landscape

How to Clearly See Your Internal Landscape

The world is a result, a function of our inner states.

We exist in the material world which becomes more and more corrupt. We’re the ones who are making it this way because the world is a copy or a reflection of our inner state. Through the wisdom of Kabbalah, we know the purpose of our existence, our goal, predestination, and why we’ve been given the method for correction. We know the path we are on, and the reason it’s so difficult. We know the causes and effects of what’s happening in reality.
