Put differently, humankind’s task is to become altruistic. The world’s perfection lies in the unity of its elements; it is accomplished only through co-existence of all parts of nature, and while each part works to sustain the entire system.

The “butterfly effect” that operates in an integral system has an optimistic side: a small action on our part for the benefit of society can trigger a lot more goodness on the other side of the globe. This goodness sooner or later will return to us. Nature is stronger than all of our forces and will continue to “beat” us until we join it and fulfill the law of giving. Then, we will pave the safe way to happiness.

I must know that everything is derived from a single power. Eventually, we will suddenly start feeling like we can no longer continue along the same lines of progress, and we’ll need to find the meaning of life.
Suffering and emptiness lead a person to the question about their meaning, cause, and purpose. Gradually a person starts feeling that he needs to understand the cause of all that’s happening. The point in the heart is your soul’s initial desire and is similar to a seed: when it’s placed in the environment that’s right for its development, it begins to develop into a vessel in which a person begins to sense the Upper Force, the Creator.

The demand to know ourselves is emerging because we have to enter the next level of perception & attainment.
Kabbalah advises us to fantasize in abstract form about the future, but then work on ourselves in order to “pull up” our desires and matter to the level of that fantasy. Then the abstract form will clothe into matter; we will change instead of simply mistaking our fantasies for actuality. Our greatest problems in life come from the fact that we attribute what we desire to actuality and build plans based on fantasies, thereby separating from matter.
