Egoism of a Part Leads to the Death of the Whole

Egoism of a Part Leads to the Death of the Whole

The cause of all conflicts is human nature: egoism, the desire to fulfill ourselves at the expense of others.

Human egoism is the only destructive force that exists; hence, the world will not be able to persist unless we change our egoistic approach to society. Egoism of a part leads to the death of the whole. If a cell in a living organism begins to relate egoistically to other cells it becomes cancerous. Such a cell begins to consume surrounding cells, oblivious to them or to the needs of the whole organism, and thus, eventually extinguishes the entire body, including itself. The same applies to human egoism with respect to nature: while developing for itself, detached from the rest of nature and not as an integral part of nature, the egoism leads everything to death, including itself.

Why You Should Listen to Your Inner Demands

Why You Should Listen to Your Inner Demands

We are entering a specific phase of development where an inner demand to know ourselves is being revealed in us.

We need to do some soul-searching. Our society is sick, dominated by interests that don’t want correction. The internal cancer that is eating us is human egoism. We need to discover it and begin treatment. Internal change comes from the study of human nature and developing the ability to use the ego correctly in relationships with others. Society will improve only when the individuals that compose it, the people, will change for the better.

What Is the Cause Of the Ecological Collapse?

human-nature-community-spiritual-wisdom-quote-kabbalah

Dr. Michael Laitman: As of now, the ecosystem of the Earth is collapsing, being crushed, shattered, and annihilated. Our incorrect relationship to nature causes terrible problems. We have already reached the North and South poles, where they are getting ready to drill for oil.

But on its own, planet Earth possesses an amazing characteristic of renewal under the influence of positive signs that descend from above. So a person’s task is to invite these signs, not to clean the Earth of garbage. This won’t work. As much as we clean it, it becomes filthier and filthier, for chemical and biological cleansing damage the ecology even more.

Rather, the idea is that everything found on the levels of the still, vegetative, and animate nature can regenerate and recover at an amazing speed. And this is possible only if a higher spiritual level brings positive signs.

The moment that humanity becomes harmonious through integral consolidation, the entire ecology will, in fact. immediately become balanced and the world will begin to blossom and spread a pleasant fragrance. It is not necessary to be concerned about it in particular, just as it isn’t necessary to be concerned about anything that is found below the spiritual level. If we make a correction on the spiritual level, the corrections will pass down and immediately cause changes on the physical level.

What is The Cause of All Conflicts?

human-nature-egoism-spiritual-wisdom-quote-kabbalah

Dr. Michael Laitman: The cause of all conflicts is our nature: egoism, the desire to fulfill ourselves at the expense of others. Until we correct it, we will fight for any reason, up to the point of causeless mutual destruction because the natural psychological need to conflict motivates us to action.

It is only left to head towards mutual destruction or to correction of our nature to the opposite so that connection, unity, and mutual concern become our psychological need. This transformation can be done only by the Upper Light.

The Ultimate Guide to Understanding and Rising Above Your Human Nature

The Ultimate Guide to Understanding and Rising Above Your Human Nature

Why Each Person Lives a Timeless Existence

The evolution of the generations in the world is nothing more than an appearance and disappearance of physical bodies. The souls, however, that fill the physical body, the primary “I,” do not disappear. They only change the body that carries them. Therefore, all the generations, from the first to the very last, are considered to be one generation that has been stretched over thousands of years, from the cradle of humankind to its final correction and the attainment of complete rest and wholeness.

Because its substance comes from an upper level, the demise of the body makes no difference to the soul. Physical death is as meaningless to our soul as cutting our nails or our hair is to the physical body. Nails and hair belong to the vegetative part in us, whereas the physical body belongs to a higher degree, the animate level. By studying how the soul is dressed in the body, a person is freed from death in his or her life.

Introducing the First 2 (of 4) Elements that Define a Human Being

To understand what the upper force allows us to choose, what is left to our free will, we must first examine our “I,” the four elements that comprise us. The first element is called the “bed,” the foundation. It is the basic, primary substance of which we are all made. That is what we received from the Creator. It is what defines our essence. The Creator created it ex nihilo, out of nothingness, something new that did not exist before. This is the substance that is imprinted in every one of us and predetermined in advance.

The second element is made up of the laws of the evolution of our essence. These laws do not change; they are predefined by the Creator, because they extend from the nature of the essence and its predetermined form, which the essence strives to  come to as the purpose of its creation. Every seed, animal, and human being has within it the program and the laws of its evolution, and we cannot influence it.
